Apollo Gymnastics competitive program consists of both boy’s and girl’s team. We currently have over 70 gymnasts. The vast majority of competitive team gymnasts advance from our recreational gymnastics program.  Our competitive team develops the skills needed to compete at the local, state, regional and national levels. Gymnasts train year round and generally compete between the months of September and May. 

The boy’s competitive program trains boys at the pre-team level as well as levels 4-10. Training consists of 15 hours a week during the school year.

Nov. 18-19, 2006 - Apollo Gymnastics Men's Survivor Invitational (results)

Mar. 18-19, 2006 - The Apollo Gymnastics Level 4 AND Level 5 boys' team finished their competition year undefeated! The Level 4 team placed first with a score of 168.50 and the Level 5 team placed first with a score of 171.750. Also, Apollo received several individual titles and all-around champions! WHAT A YEAR - CONGRATULATIONS BOYS AND A BIG THANKS JASON!

Feb. 2006 - Apollo Gymnastics boys' team placed 1st place Level 4 team and 1st place Leve 5 team at the 2006 Blaine Wilson Ohio Classic in Columbus, OH.

Level 4: Tomas P. was the first competitor in the meet's history to score a perfect 10.0 [high bar]. Tomas placed 1st AA in the 8 year old age group and Ian H. placed 2nd AA and Tristan M. placed 1st AA in the 9 year old age group. Tomas competed against 23 competitors and Tristan and Ian competed against 18 others.

Level 5: All the boys placed individually and the results will be posted soon.

December 10, 2005 - The Apollo Gymnastics Level 5 boys traveled to Laurel, MD today to compete in the 11th Annual BWI Invitational. There were 285 boys representing 19 gyms from Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, with 86 boys in the Level 5 group. The boys had an outstanding performance which resulted in MANY individual medals along with two first place all-around trophies and the Level 5 BWI Invitational Championship 1st place team trophy.
