Ken was a high school gymnast from New Jersey. He started his College career at Glassboro State College and finished at Temple University on a partial scholarship where he recieved a degree in psychology. While attending Temple University he competed All Around. Following college he taught Special Education for 6 years at a Cherokee High School in New Jersey while enrolled in a post baccalaureate program. Ken began his coaching career at Cherry Hill Gymnastics in New Jersey where he was the Head Coach for 5 years. Ken then went to Atlantic Coast Gymnastics for 3 years as their Head Coach. Upon moving to Maryland, Ken began working at Hill’s Gymnastics where he assisted Owner and Olympic Coach Kelli Hill. There he helped coach many top-level gymnasts, including Dominique Dawes, Elise Ray, and Courtney Kupets. Ken coached at both the 1996 Olympic Trials in Boston and the World Championships in Puerto Rico. He has also sent numerous gymnasts to college on scholarships. Most recently Ken served as the Head Girl’s Team Coach at MarVaTeens from 1998-2008.
