Special Needs & High School Program Coach

Mandy has been involved with gymnastics and cheerleading for over two decades.  After coaching recreational gymnastics and tumbling at Apollo since 2004, she joined the optional coaching staff in 2009.  As the Head Coach at Osbourn Park High School for the last four years, Mandy led her girls’ gymnastics team there to three state team titles. She was voted 2008 Washington Post All-Met Gymnastics Coach of the Year and coached her high school team to three consecutive state team titles.  Mandy was a four-time NCA All-American cheerleader, a former NCAA Division II cheerleader and squad captain. She also played collegiate softball for the Barton College Bulldogs. When she is not in the gym coaching, Mandy can be found at the race track.  She is a Super Comp driver for the National Hot Rod Association and a Quick Rod driver in the International Hot Rod Association.  When she’s not racing, Mandy enjoys spending time at home with her husband and two dogs.
